What we do
Re-roofs and repairs are most of what we do. Gutters and honest inspections fill the rest of the week. Whatever the job, it is priced from up on the roof and the number we email is the number you pay.
Re-roofing
Strip the old roof, replace any rotten timber and lay new long-run steel or tile. Most single-storey homes are watertight again inside a week, scaffold and all.
Repairs and leaks
Cracked tiles, lifted flashings, rusted valleys and the drips that only show in a southerly. We find the actual source, not just the wet patch, and photograph it before and after.
Gutters and downpipes
New spouting, downpipes and leaf guards sized for Wellington rain, plus re-falls on runs that pool or overflow.
Inspections and reports
Pre-purchase and insurance inspections with a written report and dated photos, so you know how many winters the roof has left.
Water coming in? We move the same day.
Wellington leaks do not keep office hours. A lifted sheet in a Thursday-night gale is water across your ceiling by Friday. Call before mid-afternoon and a roofer is usually up on your roof that same day, tarped and watertight before the next front rolls through.
Every van carries temporary covers, ladder gear and a leak-tracing kit, so the first visit stops the water even when the full repair waits for a dry window. You get photos of exactly what we found and a fixed price to put it right, before we book the return.
Same-day response for active leaks, right through winter.
How a re-roof runs
Quote from the roof
We climb up, measure, and photograph the state of the substrate, then email a fixed price within two working days. No guessing from the footpath.
Book a dry window
We read the forecast with you and lock in a start with clear days ahead. Scaffold and materials land on site before the crew does.
Strip and install
Old roof off, flashings and any soft timber sorted, new roof on. A typical single-storey home takes three to five days and is closed in every night.
Sign off and photos
We walk the finished roof with you, sweep the section for offcuts and nails, and hand over a photo record with the written guarantee.
What we lay
Three roofs cover most of Wellington. We talk you through which one suits your pitch, your budget and your street before anything is ordered.
Long-run steel
Best for most homesColoursteel and Zincalume in the full colour range. Light, fast to lay and it shrugs off salt wind. Around 30 years before it wants a fresh coat.
Membrane
Flat and low-pitchTorch-on and TPO for flat roofs, decks and internal gutters. The right answer where a pitched roof cannot go, fully sealed and walkable.
Tile
Character homesConcrete and pressed-metal tiles, re-bedded or replaced. We match the existing profile so a repair does not stand out from the street.
