Questions we hear a lot
- Do villa renovations need heritage consent?
- Some do. If your house or street is scheduled in the Dunedin City Plan, we check early and handle the paperwork.
- Can we live in the house while you work?
- Usually yes. We stage the work and seal off the active area; full rebuilds are the exception.
- Is the quote a fixed price?
- Yes, priced from the drawings and a full survey. Only changes you ask for, agreed in writing, move the figure.
- How long does a villa renovation take?
- A bathroom might be three to five weeks. A full restoration with an extension usually runs four to seven months.
