A quiet roomoff Colombo Street
An hour where nobody can reach you
The Mineral Rooms opened in a former print works in 2018 with one table, one kettle and a therapist who had spent ten years fixing rugby backs.
We added the cedar sauna the winter after, mostly so people had somewhere warm to sit while Christchurch did what Christchurch does in August.

How we got here
2018
One table in a former print works, booked out by word of mouth in a month.
2019
Cedar sauna went in along the back wall, built by a boatbuilder in Lyttelton.
2022
Second treatment room opened and Claudia joined to start the skin side.
Today
Thirteen treatments, three therapists, six days a week.
