EcoBuild NZ
Olive and clay, with certifications given real space.
A passive house costs more upfront and pays back over decades. That is a genuinely harder sale than a normal build, and it is usually attempted with the word sustainable repeated across a page that never puts a number anywhere.
The objection is always price, so the page is organised around answering it rather than around how good the homes look. Aesthetics are the easy part of this brief and they are not what loses the client.
Design decisions
- 01
Certifications are shown at full weight
Homestar, Passive House. In a category crowded with vague environmental claims, an independently assessed standard is the only thing that separates a real builder from a marketing one.
- 02
The approach page explains the method, not the values
Airtightness, thermal bridging, ventilation. Clients paying a premium want to know what they are buying, and a values statement does not tell them.
- 03
Running cost sits next to build cost
Presenting only the higher build price loses the argument before it starts. Both numbers together are what makes the case make sense.
What is built into it
- Certification section
- Method-led approach page
- Running cost alongside build cost
- Enquiry form
EcoBuild NZ is a design study. The business, its address and its reviews are invented so we can show a finished website instead of a flat mockup. Nothing on this page describes a real client of VinaPage.
