Questions we get asked
- How long does a backyard take?
- A single deck or patio is often two to three weeks on site. A full backyard, staged across a season or two, runs three to six months of actual work, spread to suit your budget and the weather.
- Can we build it in stages?
- Yes, and most people do. We sequence the work, deck and hard landscaping first, planting last, so you can spread the cost across two summers without living on a building site the whole time.
- When is the best time to plant?
- Autumn and early winter are ideal in the Bay. Roots settle over the wet months and race away in spring. We build the hard landscaping any time of year and time the planting to suit.
- Do you look after the garden afterwards?
- For the first season we come back to check the planting has taken and replace anything that has not. Ongoing maintenance is optional, and plenty of clients book us for a seasonal tidy.
- Is the price fixed?
- Yes. We price from the plan and fix it in writing. The only time it changes is if you change the scope, and we agree that with you before we build.
- How do we get a quote?
- Send the form or call us. We book a free site walk, talk through what you want, then come back with a plan, a timeframe and a fixed price.
