The studio
Lumen is a two-chair atelier above Mackelvie Street, founded by nail artist Hana Rewiri in 2021 after a decade between Tokyo and Auckland.
We take one client per artist at a time. No walk-ins and no waiting room; your hour is yours alone, and the gallery is the only marketing we do.
Appointment only, Tuesday to Saturday.

Hana Rewiri
Founder, structured gel and editorial
Trained in Tokyo and Auckland. She builds the studio's signature architecture and reads a reference better than anyone.
Talia Fue
Nail artist, hand painting and chrome
Fine-line and freehand specialist. Book her for the set no one else can quite draw.
Marlo Bennett

Gentle with fragile nails, and quietly obsessive about keeping regulars growing strong.
