Eight of ours and four guests, updated whenever a keg blows. Handles are 425ml, pints are 568ml, and a tasting paddle gets you four 100ml pours of anything on here.

Handles are $3 less than a pint on everything. Under 2.5% is on the house for the designated driver, always.

- Drink within three days. Counter pressure filled so it holds its carbonation.

- Tap and gas hire $40 with a $100 bond. Order three days ahead.

- Canned on Wednesdays. Pick your own six from whatever is in the fridge.
Not drinking beer?
Two Kapiti ciders on tap, a Martinborough pinot gris and a syrah by the glass, plus kombucha and ginger beer we make ourselves.
The 0.5% hazy is genuinely good and it is what half the staff drink on shift.
How we serve it
Lines cleaned every fortnight, glassware rinsed cold before every pour, and everything served at 4 to 6 degrees rather than freezing.
If a beer tastes off, say so and we will pour you something else. No argument, no form to fill in.
Getting home
Paraparaumu station is a nine minute walk and the last train to Wellington leaves at 10:22pm on a Friday.
We will call you a cab and we will stop serving you before you need one. Free soft drinks for the sober driver.
