Tell us about your build
Start with a few details and we will take it from there. Every enquiry gets a reply within two working days, from the builder who runs our sites.

Questions we get asked
- Is a passive home a lot more expensive?
- It costs more to build, usually 8 to 12 percent more than a standard new home in our region. That buys triple glazing, deeper insulation, airtight wrapping and the ventilation system. Most owners earn it back through years of near zero heating bills.
- What are the running costs really like?
- Heating is the big one, and it is small. Our homes typically hold near twenty degrees through a Nelson winter on a fraction of the power a standard house draws, and many owners never fit a heat pump at all.
- Can you make my existing house passive?
- We can make a lot of it warmer and drier through a deep retrofit: better insulation, airtightness work, new glazing and ventilation. A full passive result is hard to reach in an old home, and we will tell you honestly how far yours can go before you spend a cent.
- How long does a build take?
- Most of our homes take nine to twelve months on site once consent comes through, depending on size and section. We give you a real programme before we start and keep the same crew on it the whole way.
- Do we get certification?
- You can. Every home is built to passive house principles, and we can take yours through to full certification or document it for a Homestar rating if your lender, your council or your own peace of mind wants the paperwork.
